Fixing payment issues
If your customers can't complete purchases, check these common issues:
Checklist
- Stripe connection — Go to Settings > Payments and confirm Stripe is connected and active
- Test mode — Make sure you're not in test mode if you want to accept real payments
- Stripe account status — Log in to your Stripe dashboard and check for any verification requirements or holds
- Currency mismatch — Ensure your store currency matches your Stripe account's settlement currency
